How do I know my current position in the waiting list?

You can use the list bot to query your waiting list position and assigned batch at any time.

How long does it take to complete one production batch?

The current batch size is 10 units. The current batch timing goal is one batch per month.

I no longer want to be in the waiting list, what should I do?

Just send me a mail asking to get removed. No questions asked.

Is it possible to get moved to a later spot in the waiting list?

Yes. When your name is called and assigned to a batch in preparation, you can ask to be put on hold. Your position will be pushed down one batch at a time and you can do it as many times as you want.

What third-party stems are compatible?

Any stem with an outer diameter of 14mm and a length of more than 70mm is compatible.

Batteries

Can I charge the battery inside the device?

No, Ubik is not able to charge the battery cell internally, you need an external lithium-ion battery charger.

Can I use 18650 cells inside my 21700 device?

Yes, a 18650 to 21700 adapter sleeve is included with every Ubik 21.

How many sessions can I get per battery charge?

This is a tricky question to answer. But you can expect on average at least 4 sessions on a 18650 and 7 sessions on a 21700.

What kind of batteries do I need?

You need to use one of the battery cell models found in the official recommendations page. Any cell not listed there is not supported.

Where can I buy batteries from?

For some EU countries where truck delivery is possible you can get battery cells directly from me. Otherwise I maintain a list of reputable online sellers.
