My goal with the waiting list is to provide the best experience for my customers. I could have chosen to do drops and let you guys fight each others, would be the simplest for me and put the least pressure on my shoulders, but I do not want to incite this kind of behavior which sounds to me like the rat race in that good old Bob Marley song.
But since when the list will open there will undoubtedly be a rush and some people would be advantaged by their time zone compared to others, creating de-facto some kind of a drop, I decided to do this concept of time window.
The window is now open and will close on the 20th of July at midnight, Paris time (CEST / UTC+2) All e-mail applications received during that window will then be randomized and names inserted in the waiting list. You all have an equal chance, no need to rush.
A second longer window will open later for Instagram and the 420vapegeeks forum, likely creating a much larger influx, again randomized once it closes. Then afterwards the list will stay permanently open in regular first in first out mode.
